SEM expert
We are looking for a young SEM expert who is capable of executing the positioning and ranking success at scale while increasing daily traffic to the website and compliment heavily to the inbound marketing initiatives. Hands on expertise and exposure on managing and reporting day-to-day performance of the sites, run campaigns and assist the marketing function head in the over-all search marketing and lead generation initiatives.
Role Summary:
Having a very critical role in the marketing team, this position needs to have deep understanding of organic and inorganic search marketing practice, technology knowhow- related to search engine, contextual content positioning, smart integration of LPO- Landing page optimization, continuous efforts in maintaining the rankings in SERP- Search engine ranking, smart planning of Ad-words, content submission and social listing etc. Understanding of B2B domain will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities: the key responsibilities for this position include:
Managing the organic search ranking activities in coordination with the content agency
Work with marketing team to drive SEO- Search engine optimization in content creation and content programming for the website
Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing site traffic through organic search listing in consultation with the Marketing Head
Run controlled SEO experiments and prove the value of our ideas and help scale them up
Responsible for the creation of information architecture of the website and SEO future proofing
Researching and resolving HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues
Carry out performance investigation at regular intervals
Experience with Enterprise SEO
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Report on the overall SEO health of the web and online properties and rolling up SEO reports for better ROI
Good understanding of social media platforms and their network effects to have a better SMO practice
Research expertise on right set of keywords using tools
Trouble shooting on the website related issues
Stay top of current search engine news, trends, best SEO practices
Knowledge of decoding search engine algorithm through small, controlled and measurable experiments
Coordinate between external agencies like content, website designing & others
Managing SEM budgets & the daily/weekly/monthly activities
Achieve the targeted ROI for all ad spends on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Be open and willing to take up multi-tasking role in digital marketing
Skills and Experience:
Deep understanding of search marketing technology and practice
Expertise in content placement and Landing Page Optimization
Google Adwords - technical understanding and can pick new tools quickly
Analyze, improve and communicate on the day to day business performance
Creating the SEO road map with the marketing head to drive online growth in traffic, visibility and growth
Good data analysis skills and ability to identify actionable insights from the online data sets
Proven expertise in assuming SEO ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas and delivering results in a fast paced online environment
Strong knowledge of search algorithms and SERP strategies
SEO software and tools
Web analytics
HTML (Tags, basic level coding, Dreamweaver)
Understanding of UIUX from a user point of view, use simple coding with standards, flexible and scalable
Online promotion-various other mediums such as web directories etc., should be well familiar in link building activities
On page and off page optimization
Qualification:
Graduate/Post graduate with at least 2-5 years of experience in SEM/PPC, native advertising
Understanding of social media paid advertising, SMO
A highly result oriented, articulate, decisive, self-starter who energizes people around him
Solid understanding of paid search platforms interface, algorithm, campaign management, optimization and executions
A multitask oriented person with ability to manage multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
Excellent MS Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Gant Chart and MS-Project will be added advantage but not mandatory
Strong data analysis skills, able to decipher online data and numbers to draw inferences, trends and insights.
