1. Product ownership: working with technical teams to develop specifications for website features to improve SEO. This includes setting timeline targets for SEO related developments and traffic targets.
2. Retrieving and analysing internal & external metrics to monitor search performance and drive insights to further improve performance.
3. Conceiving and driving SEO strategies beyond the set of existing projects.
4. Drive SEO best practices across content team
5. Communicating performance and status to various global stakeholders.
6. Market research, Competitive market analysis, Optimization of musafir's website content and code, and detailed Link prospecting and acquisition.
a. Perform keyword research and analysis from Google Adwords tool and other commonly used tools
b. Develop link-building strategies, link architecture and ensure spider friendliness of the website for multiple search engines like google, yahoo, bing etc.
c. Log file analysis and traffic reporting, and other topical trends in SEO
d. Develop reports on organic metrics, and possess working knowledge of Google Analytics and other commonly used tools
e. Understanding of HTML and web protocols
f. Strong knowledge of webmaster tools
g. Gather required link building data from search engines and useful tools.
7. Strong understanding of social media to optimize sites organically.
8. Good knowledge of best practices for multi-regional websites, local SEO etc.
9. Strong communication skills
10. Thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and critical updates; familiarity with online SEO resources, tools, blogs, and forums.
11. Managed a travel website's organic search campaign.
